Power Mobility Multi-Point Inspection

Keep your power mobility equipment performing at its best with a comprehensive multi-point inspection of key components, safety features, and overall operation.

Designed for power wheelchairs and mobility scooters, this inspection evaluates the condition and basic functionality of your equipment to help identify visible wear, operational concerns, and potential maintenance or repair needs. Whether you use your equipment daily or are having it checked after a period of storage, this service provides a clearer understanding of its current condition.

What’s Included

  • Overall Operation and Controls: Check startup and shutdown, basic driving functions, directional response, speed controls, and the joystick or tiller controls, as applicable. Note unusual noises, vibrations, displayed alerts, or inconsistent operation.

  • Wheels, Tires, Casters, and Bearings: Inspect for visible wear, cracking, damage, loose components, and irregular movement. Check accessible bearings and wheel assemblies for excessive play or signs of wear.

  • Brakes and Safety Features: Evaluate basic braking response, parking or holding functions, and freewheel engagement, as equipped and appropriate for the model. Inspect applicable safety features, such as anti-tip components, lights, and the horn.

  • Batteries, Charging Components, and Connections: Visually inspect accessible battery connections, wiring, charging ports, and charger cords for damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Check basic charging indications when the compatible charger is provided. Battery capacity, range, and advanced electrical testing are not included.

  • Frame, Seating, and Support Components: Inspect the frame, seat, backrest, armrests, footrests, and accessible mounting hardware for visible damage, excessive movement, or loose connections. Check seat swivel and locking mechanisms where applicable.

  • Powered Seating and Accessories: Check the basic operation and visible condition of installed powered seating functions and attached accessories, where applicable. Specialized adjustments, programming, and accessory repairs are not included.

  • Inspection Findings and Recommendations: Review observed concerns and recommended next steps, including any maintenance, additional diagnostics, or repairs that may require a separate service.

Service Scope and Exclusions

This is an inspection-only service—not a maintenance plan, repair service, or extended warranty. Inspection items vary by equipment model, installed features, and component accessibility.

The service does not include cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, bearing or wheel replacements, other replacement parts, repair labor, advanced diagnostics, disassembly, or programming. House calls, pickup, delivery, and transportation are also excluded.

Any recommended maintenance, replacement parts, diagnostics, or repairs will be quoted separately and require customer approval before work begins. Identifying a concern during the inspection does not make its correction included in the inspection price.

Findings reflect the equipment’s observed condition at the time of inspection. Routine visual and operational checks may not identify concealed defects or intermittent issues and do not guarantee future performance.
